Newspaper Article Activity
After the discussion students will compare the
similarities and differences of the Non Fiction
class text “Bad Boy: A Memoir” to “The
Narrative of Frederick Douglass” in a mock
newspaper article. Students will write two
paragraphs illustrating what the author’s have
in common and what is unique. They should
include an image to reflect their opinion
